You need that save backed up that I mentioned. Then you will have to go into Elden Ring and delete the old save data you just copied, if you cannot do it from within the game, you can go delete that save folder you opened and delete it. Next you will need to go into Elden Ring and make a new game, that will be where we copy the save data into.
