We had loot drop problems with Astral Alignment for supposedly the same reason. Wellspring is a 6-player activity with a ton of adds and ability spam. I know that the pattern comes from activity completion and not the chest, so I'm wondering if the this is problem could be in-play here. Just speculating.You get the whole pattern right off the rip and can immediately craft it once it drops. You can keep running the activity on your warlock if you prefer, or farm for them on one of the alts instead. I ran like 8-10 and got one to drop, ran another 20 and haven't had the 3rd one drop yet.
