Apr 18, 2017 · You are correct on the order. The Franchi is for sure the superior gun between the two and the price tag reflects that. Franchi is made side-by-side with Benelli in Italy. Stoeger does have the exact same Inertia-Driven recoil system that both the Benelli and Franchi has, but at a much cheaper price point.

May 5, 2021 · I have a m2 20 compact that I had dipped & cerakoted. Added a compact Mesa Tactical pistol grip and drilled/tapped myself for the 336 base with a Vortex Venom on top. It's a sweet rig but I also own a 12 and 20 Franchi Affinity for waterfowl. Same triggers on the Benelli's and Franchi's.

Both the Mossberg SA-20 and the Weatherby Element are easy to load. While perhaps unremarkable in the case of the Mossberg, many 20 gauge inertia guns are real thumb-busters, as is the case with the previously reviewed Benelli M2 and the Franchi Affinity models.
