With maya i usually just run the left and right skill trees, zer0 i usually do b0re and more focused on guns and sniping then melee, and gaige the usual anarchy build. But recently ive decided to go middle and left tree for maya and rather then focus on damage i focus on things that are more "support" oriented.She's great with SMGs and elemental weapons in general, and SMGs are a very powerful weapon type in Borderlands 2. Maya is fun because elemental weapons drop more and more frequently as you move through the game, and her affinity for elemental weapons means that you can extra good use of them. Maya with a fire pistol or fire SMG wrecks …I feel like either anarchy Gaige or grog nozzle +whatever salvador is the best for soloing. 400+ stacks of anarchy is more than enough to kill anything in the game, and the grog nozzle makes Salvador very very hard to kill due to ridiculous health regen. Salvador and Axton are the most "standard shooty"-y characters.

Level 72 Maya raid boss build. So the title pretty much says it. I’m looking for a good raid boss build for maya at level 72. My main gear so far is a legendary cat class mod, a bee shield, a electric sandhawk (I also have a slag and corrosive one), grog nozzel, hellfire, and some different types of bone of the ancient relics.If I were you, I'd take out the 4 points from blight phoenix, and the 5 points from suspension and put them in ward and sweet release. Personally, I'm not a fan of helios and I think backdraft is a super out of place skill for Maya, but to each their own. You should watch Derch's breakdown on Maya's skills.

Everything Maya does is keyed off Phaselocking, and Quicken lets you do more of it. Reaper is Maya's most reliable damage booster. It's good for any build and is especially effective when combined with elemental DoTs. Sustenance is nice for health tanks (a Maya with a Vitality Relic and a health/Harmony boosting Mod).

It is a percentage increase of a percentage elemental effect chance. Since you are using SMGs a high chance to ignite or whatever might be 20%. Even with flicker maxed at 5 for a 30% increase, takes it up to only 26% 5 skill points is a high price to pay to go from 1 out of 5 to basically one out of 4 elemental effect chance in my opinion.

Use them initially to help you early on, but once you have 15-20 points consider a respec as you can get similar benefits under the Guerilla tree with Able, and having rockets and/or double guns will really help you.
