As Kineticist you can also pump your Mobility high and benefit a lot from Mounted Combat and Indomitable Mount feats. For what it's worth, the Dark Codex mod includes a patch to make kinetic blasts spell-like, and one to make Zippy work with spell-likes. Also Chain Infusion and a bunch of other cool stuff.If your making a merc, I would highly suggest a thundercaller bard. It is the most OP class in the game. You get near limitless AoEs that deal sonic damage without a saving throw (for the damage).

Would be nice if Owlcat games had the good idea to make one, as "manual" for the game. For example for kinesicist, I have heard people saying that earth and fire are the deal for damage, but right now for example, my lvl7 kinecist thunderstorm (air + lightning) hits at 20-60 damages, looks more than decent to me.
Show me one kineticist build that doesn't use deadly earth, cloud, or both that you would classify as OP. I love kineticist, but the class is very much a B tier class unless you take Deadly Earth and then win forever without trying. You just described like 95% of all the classes lol. All the good builds abuse the same dips and obscure mechanics. Base Kineticist is the best. Subclasses sacrifice too much for little gain. You want Constitution to be your Burn stat, not others. Most powerful elements are fire and earth. Fire targets touch AC which is usually the lowest defense stat of the enemies, while earth is great for crowd control (Deadly Earth is king). Human. A great start for any class of any build, Humans in Pathfinder gets a +2 to any ability score, plus an extra Feat and more skill points. Kitsune. Ok just did a test run on my kineticist with Fire/Earth composite blast. What I am seeing is two entries for damage as the results of the attack.
