The MTR's are VERY scarce and commanding crazy $ these days. The good news is that CZ 457s are as customizable as a Ruger 10/22. I have tested Bergara as well, and i have also CZ 457 Long Range Precision. But i must say that i like Bergara more than CZ. Stock is better. Trigger is better. It is more accurate than CZ. And more like a real rifle than rimfire, if that is what you are looking for. The T1X's always suffer from an ejection issue eventually due to the design and that little spring getting loose. The CZ 457 MTR is around $750 if you want to guarantee yourself a match barrel, otherwise the standard 457's are lottery barrels but they're never worse than a RPRR. These targets were shot at 50 yards from a bench with SK Pistol Match Special cartridges. The thick green 10 ring is 1/2 inch in diameter.
But a cz and bergara will be more consistent and easier to shoot in my opinion. Nature of the beast. For a cheaper 700 foot print practice tool short of Vudoo Bergara.
