That can happen with any car that has an ignition based steering lock out. You'll notice the wheel will not move at all in one direction but will move a little in the other direction. Just move the wheel a little away from the tight side. That will take the pressure off and allow the key to turn. Whatever you do, don't use force to turn the key.
