Tried to do it online and it looked like it worked, but when I logged out and in again, the same balance was there. I called Carnival and had the agent do it again and this time it worked.

Newbie. 02-19-2020 04:54 PM. Your travel agent is wrong. Any carnival gift card (ecard or physical card) can be loaded to your sign and sail account. With the physical card you just hand the card over to Guest Services sometime after you board the ship and they load it to your account.

Can we no longer buy enough cards to pay for a cruise, unless we buy them months in advance and have our money tied up in cards. The cruise I am taking in November cost us about $3000. That means six months before the 90 day final payment we have to start buying cards.
