Sorry Marlin fanatics. The quality of the wood, bluing and accuracy simply defy the moderate cost of this rifle. The Ruger 10/22 comes in the most configurations and has the most aftermarket parts available if the original configuration is not satisfactory. Many people love this gun. I had one and do not. Marlin bolt actions are cheap but accurate.
