NCLEX shut off at 83 questions. This was my 3rd attempt at the NCLEX, i felt absolutely defeated after finishing. For the first time out of these attempts, I finally got the good pop up. I’m so relieved but I’m still nervous for my actual result in 2 days. First attempt shut off at 104, second shut off at 145, this final attempt shut off at 83.I took my NCLEX-PN on December 28, 2005. Eventually, the test shut off at 85 questions and I was convinced that I failed again. I felt like the whole thing flew by so fast - it only took me just about an hour. To fail the nclex at 75 questions means you got more questions wrong than right. It meant that you were unable to demonstrate that you can make the safe clincial judgement call 50% of the time when asked. I do not believe that using UWorld is going to cut it.
