How to check codes on polaris ranger 900.
I did check my coolant reservoir bottle and it did have coolant in it. Seemed to be in line with the proper volume (between the full (cold) line and the "low" line). I will check the radiator grates for debris. I bet I didn't have the machine running for more than a couple minutes each time I started and moved it.
I have a 2017 XP 900 and the check engine light came on and it would only rev up partially. It showed a code of 29 4 which says something about low voltage. I traced wires and can't see any bad spots where maybe a rat chewed. temp on gauge is just a setting. Hit the little button on the gauge and it will change between odometer, trip tick, hour meter, rpm, temp, voltage, etc. I usually have mine on rpm, but I use the temp to monitor after a coolant drain and refill to make sure all the air is out and the fan cycles properly.
