Hughes blades, both 269 and OH-6, have a ~5 lb. tip weight which gives them considerable inertia and of course both have proper chordwise balance. Both of them are to prevent corrosion. The number is the key. 8.8 shows U the tensile and yield strenght. 5.6 is very weak, 10.9 or more are too rigid,the 8.8 is commonly used in UL section. Brian. The fuel pumps (both) have to be switched of course. Bypassing the Master on one fuel pump is Rotax 914 installation manual recommendation. You can decide against it, if you like. FYI: There are plenty of TSO'ed CB's that are also switches. I have been using them for almost a decade.
