Hey so I'm working on getting my dad a copy of this album for Christmas, specifically mono, and I noticed that the The Complete Masters edition released in Europe is the only one in mono that isn't super expensive and or hard to find.

I find the MFSL has too much treble. For At Fillmore East the original album, I like the MFSL Gold CD the best. The Drake mastered CD is a good second best. I've heard the AP 33 rpm for Tenor Madness, Saxophone Colossus, Bags Groove, and Coltrane With the Red Garland Trio (aka Traneing In).
