Feb 8, 2017 · A quick question and apologies if has been asked already.....but just curious as to the difference (if any) in the two settings below. Both settings will put club in 14.25 degree of loft, but just wondering which way to go. 917F2 15 degree adjusted to D1 = 14.25 917F2 13.5 degree adjusted to D4 = 14.25

Carlsbad, CA. May 17, 2018 at 10:57 AM. Hi Leslie, We would recommend that you work with the Surefit hosel first as that will make the biggest change and then fine tune with the CG weight. The Surefit settings will assist with direction/height and the weight assists with curvature, but the beauty of the system is that it can always be changed back.FYI for a strong vote for the 917 D2 (Aldila Rogue Max 65-S) - played Nine yesterday and had a legitimate 290 yard drive with a strong cross wind still knocking it down some. Was using the A-1 standard hosel adjustment with the weight in the heel fade position. It's a fabulous club already but know I can dial it further.

If swing path on the monitor says you are coming in square but you are 48 degrees open, sounds like you may be gripping the club way too weak and so when you swing down properly, the face is way open. I would get a pro to take a look. Loosen the screw in the clubhead using the given wrench. Remove the head of the driver. Align the desired letter and the number on the cogs in the desired manner with the dots on the hosel. Replace the head of the driver. Tighten the screw of the head.
