I assume Supro, Airline, Silvertone and others fit into that ideology but from the looks of it, the current Harmony does not.
The biggest appeal is the lack of menu diving, immediately and the sound quality- as far as what I've read. Compression is nice too. The cons of phantom power , polarity and pads are not a major concern, but not being able to imprint EQ and Compression, while not a deal breaker is a little " one step forward, two back".

Epi's seem to have generous length with their 'Grub' screws, or the small allen head adjustment screws in the bridge. Mine are recessed inward with no screw threads exposed.
