Oct 5, 2020 · I bought a Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44 CDS ZL2. I mounted it using Talley Lightweight 20moa mounts, then to get it zeroed at 200 yards I removed the zero-stop mechanism and moved the reticle roughly 20 minutes to offset the 20moa mounts. I was thinking I would then get 3 full turret revolutions of elevation out of the scope. Leupold VX-3i, Rifle Scope, 4.5-14X40mm, 1" Tube, Wind-Plex Reticle, CDS-ZL Zero Lock Turrets with 0.25 MOA Adjustments, Burnt Bronze Finish 177864That scope has always held zero. I could mount it on a rifle & have faith of its integrity. A long time ago I was given a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8. Apparently the gifter thought my entry level Redfield was too old school. I did mount the Leupold and stowed my beloved Ranger.
