Here're SIG's Match Duo Trigger's hammer from my MCX Virtus on the left and SIG516's mil-spec hammer on the right. The Virtus hammer is about 2mils or ~1/16" taller than the 516's. Those upper receivers that you linked are meant to be used for the virtus handguards with m-lok. One thing to consider is that the mcx lowers are compatible with either the legacy or virtus uppers. I have a legacy and am considering purchasing one of these uppers with a handguard in the near future when I am no longer wanting to use keymod.

The buffer tube is gone with the adapter. So you’re essentially dedicating a lower to it to the mcx upper. If I remember correctly the kit comes with a hinge adapter that you can use with a standard buffer tube if you wanted to. Or you could buy a stock with a 1913 adapter, it doesn’t need to be mcx exclusive. 2.
