I used wroggi and GI LBG up until I made the narga bowgun, but you can probably use rheno or dreamshell armour for pierce up to boost damage a bit. Also consider HR ore for Normal 2 spam and HR remobra for Shrapnel/Spread, but both drop off substantially, and GI has the advantage of RF slicing as well for more mats via tails.Imo for solo play, LBG is the "easiest" of the 3. Faster movement than HBG and Bow has to be relatively stationary. So it lets you just focus on dodging while shooting whenever you can. Bow and HBG get a lot more out of multiplayer since you can basically sit still and power shot or wyvernheart as much as you want.I dont see any big benefits for LBG, especially for elemental pierce builds. Dereliction / Dragon Conversion charms are likely better than AB / Spare Shot ones, freeing an armor piece from that. Especially Dereliction because Dragon Conversion can be augmented.
