My actual score was about 10 points lower than my last NBME. Surgery is a bitch. yeah i took all the NBME surgery self assessments. In my distant memory, I think NBME practice tests underestimated by actual shelf score by 10-20%. I got 85ish on surgery shelf. I took form 4, made a 23 or ~80.
Quick rules of the road: Shelf exam scores should be entered as raw scores, if you have not taken a shelf, enter a "0" for that score.
