The trunk button still does not work. I looked through the owner's manual and found on page 5-105 a schematic for the Rear Compartment Fuse Block. This appears to have the relay for the Trunk Release (item 22 for those playing along at home). You can check the fuse and relay in the rear fuse box on the left side of the trunk compartment. The fuse is #22, 10A.

The push button works when all the doors are unlocked. The manual says the push button should work when the doors are locked and the remote is within 3 feet, but it does not. Take a flashlight with you and crawl inside the trunk from the back seat and look for a neon green or neon yellow release handle. It should be marked. Just pull that handle and the trunk will open.
