At the moment I'm feeding thralls and pets whatever food grants a useful bonus and is cheap to collect, rather than being more strategic about things. I always feed only food which boosts chances for higher vitality. After they reach 20, I use whichever food gives them the most healing. Survival is paramount.

If you wanna go heavy, I'm using Stygian Soldier torso and pants made by a shieldwright armourer, and then yoggite chosen mask made by a temperwright armourer. The bejewelled anklets add +6% to agility, but at an armour value of 2, they're not the best. My level 16 RHTS archer has 900+ armour, and an agility bonus to ranged of 48%.
