For pepper shaker I use the fusion mag. It does the same damage as plasma but the ammo is lighter and more plentiful. The barrel will depend on what you are using it for. If I remember correctly the single barrel has more projectiles which makes it a better choice if you are using pepper as a crippling machine, but for DPS the hex barrel is better.Two shot is ONLY ever good with explosive.
