A flashing green key on the gauge cluster means that there is an issue it the immobilizer unit. It does not recognize your key. Try removing any other metal objects like key chains around your key and try again.

There is a good chance that it's the remote start. Possibly something is loose or undone, I'd start at the alarm shop you had it installed. If the key isn't coded properly, the immobilizer won't recognize it and will shut off the fuel delivery system. I believe the flashing green key indicates the key isn't recognized.
