Had my local Kia dealer run a diagnostics test which by the way they have done all the service since new. I was told I needed a Drivers side Central Locking Switch/Actuator. Most Kia owners experience door lock problems due to issues like frozen rubber door gaskets, worn-out tumblers, or jammed lock cylinders.
