Gaige and DeathTrap are a fun pair (harder on raid bosses becasue DT doesn't always do what you want and usually sticks to his projectile attacks & doesn't use melee.) Maya is best with 2 of her capstones imo but she def has broken abilities before then. Both are good with any weapon but I'd say Axton has more "make any gun work" potential.
