The most loot you'll get as a scav is the village or the pier, both of which are probably looted, and the distances between them are super long. Time-wise you're much better doing any other map.Scav factory, loot, run to extract, sell everything. Do it every scav cooldown for a little bit, easy and most importantly- FAST. If you just want to build your cash stack: scav runs on reserve whenever your scav is available. If you want to avoid PvP entirely, but still get PMC XP, stash runs on interchange.

Everybody would love to do some quick scar runs to start hideout. Hence, thats why it takes ages to find a game. Also some maps, with mid-late game quests (like Lighthouse) its really difficult to get in as scav.

The run through is always in the first 7 minutes of the original raid timer. On shoreline a 50 minute raid it means you can extract at any time after the 43 minute mark. I see scav runs as pacifist loot runs, most of the people you see will be Ai scavs or player scavs. So the world is friendly for the most part. You'll start to see the differences between PMCs & scavs after a few runs.

Scavs act well like Ai. They stand in still in the open, walk very scripted paths. Only spawn in certain locations. They have a distinct look than pmcs (you can view the different clothing options for pmcs in ragman's store) They usually yell at you when you're nearby whereas most players don't.
