Greetings fellow wheelgun lovers.:bluelogo: I just acquired a beautiful model 34-1 with the serial number 576X2E17 and was hoping someone here could help me identify the year it was produced. I will be posting pictures shortly as she is a real beaut!It certainally is an early "pre-28" Highway Patrolman and looks in very servicable shape for its age. It appears to be around 1955, but the only sure way to date the DOB is a letter. The model 67 was introduced in 1972 at around serial number 2K55997. The full serial number is found on the butt of the grip frame. You will have to remove the grips to see it.

Shipped in 1956 and a early model 39 shipped in Jan 1959. S/N 6xxx. There were only 972 steel frame model 39s ever sold in the mid 1960s.
