The 2nd, 3rd, & 4rth gen doors are all different. I would think you would be better off getting the flip style towing mirrors.

The difference is the placement of the hood and probably a hood. Anything can be made to work with enough effort and money. The HUGE difference is this- the 2nd Gen lip where the hood drops in goes straight back to the end of the fender. The 3rd Gen lip stops short and the fender curves up to the "A" piller.
