So far in both my CVA Optima V2 and my son's Wolf we've shot both Harvester crush rib & smooth black sabots, T/C Superglide sabots, Hornady sabots that come with SST hi-speed low drag, and Hornady .44/.50 & .45/.50 sabots. All have shot well from both rifles. The crush ribs definitely load easier, as advertised.

My Wolf will shoot 100 loose grains of 777 with a MMP sabot and 305 grain lead bullets and WW209 for about $.80 a shot powder and all all day long into 1.25 inches at 120 yards.Someone recently did chrony rifle testing with equal volume loads of 777 and RS (2 granulations of 777). The RS was easily 20% slower. Perhaps P would have only been 10-15% slower. I think that P is the closest to black powder, especially Swiss which is said to be 11% denser than regular Goex.The Wolf does have a Bergara barrel. It's the same barrel the Optima has, but shorter. The Impact does not have a GM barrel. It is the same as the Omega barrel though. I used to have a Wolf, and it was very accurate. No problems at all with it.
