Project Zomboid is sort of like DayZ. It's less shooter and more hardcore zombie survival. There's also SCUM, which has puppets (zombies by another name) and both can be played solo. SCUM it's like DayZ but way deeper and more complex and better overall, SCUM has a Singleplayer Mode and PvE servers as well.
