The engram Xur sells will give you a piece of armour or weapon you do not currently have in your collection. This does not include the lost sector exotics or quest. Once your collection is full it'll be random what you get each time but will only drop armour. So you can hunt for a better roll each week. Reply.
The Vex Strike Force event on Neomuna can drop the Lost Sector exotics now. You still have to own the expansion associated with the exotic to get the drop.
