By comparison, Brute gets a non-loss attack 5 +1xp at like lvl 3 or 4. As soon as you get to lvl 2 monsters and everything has shield, Tinkerer can't touch them, and doing 1 or 2 dmg a round is not helping. You can kill things, but only with loss cards, so you exhaust after killing 3 or 4 creatures.I've been playing Gloomhaven for about two years. I’ve been playing the tinker who has the largest hand and lots of burn cards. I usually wait till after the first test to use my first burn card. There’s some charts that show the significant change in your hand if you burn a card too early. But basically say you rest 3 times in a scenario. And let’s say you are the scoundrel who has 9 cards.
