The mainstream data feeds are CQG and Rithmic. Some like Ninjatrader or Tradovate are based off of CQG. I haven’t used IB for futures before, but their reputation for data is pretty bad. They used to aggregate their data (unusable in scalping), and they still have API limits for third party platforms, and their fees and margins are shit. Rithmic does offer a C++ API, a language agnostic websocket based google protobuffer feed, and also have a DTC protocol that is how Sierra chart (Sierra came up with the DTC protocol) connects to rithmic. Getting direct programmatic access to the API is around $100 / month, which sounds like you would need given you mentioned a C++ platform.
