Per Delta's website they start flying to SXM July 2nd. We don't know how it will be in SXM, or if we want to spend $$$$ if it's going to be stressful. That doesn't sound like a good vacation. We went through regular security on Sundays in May/June, and while the line was long it was calm and you made steady progress; it took about 30-45 mins to be through and into the food court. Note that if you fly AAS over from Anguilla to SXM, *and* you're not checking bags, there is a separate connecting-flight transfer line that is quick.

All incomming calls to SXM from US to a local rental cell phone are free to the receiver. Verizon only works on the Durtch side and runs around 1.29 a min. They are actually vans and the the license plate will say " BUS xxxx " with x = numbers. The bus may be only $ 5 - 10 USD and will take the same exact roads. 5. Stay in SXM whenever. It's really not that big of a deal. Anguilla is overwhelmingly the better of the two locations but it's fun to explore new places and try new things.
