No more flashing "D" coming back so far and it appears to be shifting fine. Also, the technician did say that the transmission fluid was fairly "dirty" but nothing abnormal.Something quick and easy to try if you are so inclined. With the Ignition 'OFF', disconnect both battery cables (negative end first) and then hold the two cable ends in contact with each other for approx. 30 seconds. Re-install the cables (positive end first) and see if your issue has been corrected.I thought I'd share this in case someone else encounters the same problem.
