New water pump, full antifreeze, new heater core, new thermostat and running 210F engine temp. heat drops to little or nothing at idle and blows pretty good at speed. Well if it's your AC that causing you to overheat then to me that means your cooling system is marginal and the increase in heat load from the AC is overloading it. If I drive up I-70 out of Denver- a lot of uphil driving- at 65 mph and air condoning on, temp gauge goes 3/4+.rsmwrangler.
