On the LR3 the cat sensor nut is located in the waste drawer compartment, fairly easy to get to, (see attached picture) use a small adjustable wrench or a 8 or 9 mm end wrench try turning it loose 1/2 turn initially and test for the sensitivity, loosen another 1/2 turn if no change.
