I prefer this route rather than saving a few tens of dollars with a smaller company.

Answer 1 of 7: Hi all. We’ve been to SXM many times but not since the hurricane a couple of years ago. There seems to be a media blackout on the condition of the island-specifically towards what’s reopened and what isn’t. I’ve read that Orient beach has 3 new... Per Delta's website they start flying to SXM July 2nd. We don't know how it will be in SXM, or if we want to spend $$$$ if it's going to be stressful. That doesn't sound like a good vacation. SXM did release their 5 phase to reopen plan. Basically most everything opens June 1st, on June 15th Everything is open.

As always the views from here are wonderful. The lovely bartender Amber kept us laughing and our glasses full. We tried a couple of appetizers now that the kitchen is open and they were very yummy.
