For a 10-point wide spread the pricing on it was actually better than the price of a 10-point SPY or XSP spread. i.e. I just looked at 17 Jun (42dte). The spy/XSP 375/365 ps was around 1.31-1.35. The SPX 3750/3740 ps was around 1.45. Same $1000 of capital, same over/under line, but a higher premium on SPX, plus the better tax advantage.I've only been theta gang for a little while post covid albeit with a big account so take this with a huge grain of salt but one way I try to look at things is through contract volume. I always try to see where other people think the market is going by the amt of contracts on a given strike on the call or put side, and try to follow the herd.

There aren't currently income limitations on conversions to Roth. Though, some of the current tax change proposals would change that.
