The headlights work fine, but I cannot get the parking lights to turn off. The only way is to pull fuse #11 under the hood. I even pulled the headlight switch and they still stay on.Chosen Solution. Lonnie, the door Ajar switches are on the inside of the door (see attached diagram). To replace it you will have to remove the door panel, the water barrier etc. To determine which door has the problem, open each door with the key in the on position. The door that does not make a chime is the problem door.

Had the the oppisite problem with the dome light coming on for no reason when driving down the road. Just spray into the latch, no need to take the door apart.Dome light could stay on because of faulty dimmer switch, door ajar switch, or wiring to the light. Look for door ajar switch issues, have seen broken wiring in door jam wire harnesses. Check for trouble codes if possible. I cut the white wire with the purple stripe on it and put a rocker switch in that line. I can shut off all the interior and running board lights off when the rear hatch is open. So, I built a inline fuse switch to give me a quick switching ability for the interior lights. To plug into the ATM mini blade fuse panel I ground a spade connector down to the fuse blade width. This plugs into the hot (right hand) side of the fuse terminal. The spade connector goes into an inline fuse holder (didn't want to eliminate the fuse).
