Functions of Tradovate are mere fractions of NinjaTrader. Tradovate charting tools are laughable. The trend channel tool is absolute trash. I personally prefer how lightweight & simple Tradovate is. If you don’t need a ton of fancy features then it works perfectly fine imo. If you would like to trade futures on Tradovate via TradingView, you need to have a subscription for the real-time data on the broker platform. In case data package is purchased on TradingView, the orders can not be placed.
